Speech City and a US History Lesson... Lincoln to a Tee!

Steven Spielberg's Lincoln, is a somewhat dry, but an exceptional film nonethless, depicting a detailed history lesson for Canadians,  and successfully exhibits the uprising, political conflict evident during Abraham Lincoln's presidency. The drama is comprised mainly of complex, lengthy dialogue, set in the politcal arena, however, is displayed by a master of his craft and a perfect choice for the lead role; Daniel-Day Lewis and directed by the long-time talent;  Spielberg.

    I loved this quick summary and the lengthier, more detailed review below! Both very very well written :)
    Originally I wasn't all that interested in watching this movie, but you're definitely piqued my interest! Great review!

      Glad you enjoyed the review! Thanks for the comments. Hope the film provides some political insight as it did for me, during a such pivotal time in US history boosted no doubt, by a memorable portrayal from Daniel Day-Lewis.
